The Opening Specification Of Tempered Glass

Clear Glass

1. Only toughened glass with a width greater than 8 times thickness can be drilled.

2. The thickness of tempered glass should not exceed 12mm, and the distance from the hole edge to the flat glass edge should not be less than 1.5 times of the sheet glass thickness.For tempered glass whose thickness is over 12mm, the distance from the hole edge to the flat glass edge should not be less than 2 times of the flat glass thickness.

3. The diameter of the round hole on the tempered glass shall be at least 1.6mm larger than the thickness of the sheet glass.The diameter of the round hole should be less than 1/3 of the width.The chamfered radius on the glass sheets should be greater than the thickness of the glass sheets.

4. When opening the hole at an angle of not less than 90°, the distance from the hole edge to the angle tip should be greater than 6.5 times of the thickness of the flat glass.

5. The inner concave part shall be rounded radius not less than the thickness of sheet glass.
