The advantages and disadvantages of toughened glass

3.Shortcomings of tempered glass:

2) Although the strength of toughened glass is stronger than ordinary glass, toughened glass has the possibility of self-explosion (self-rupture) when the temperature difference varies greatly, but the ordinary glass does not have the possibility of self-explosion.

Avoid measures: After glass tempering, the mechanical strength of the glass surface is 3 to 5 times higher than ordinary glass, but the tempered glass corner is relatively fragile, which may rupture after being subjected to external force.
