Production Process:

Borosilicate glass is produced by traditional glass add glaze silicate sand, soda and ground lime. For borosilicate glass melts at higher temperatures than ordinary silicate glasses, that requires some new technology to make industrial production. Borrowing from welding trade, combined with the need for new natural gas to burn oxygen.


Specificity:

1) Stronger resistance to fracture;

2) Borosilicate glass is lower than ordinary glass dense;

3) When broken, borosilicate glass cracks tend to be relatively large, rather than crushed (it will unit, not split);

4) Borosilicate glass has a low dispersion (about 65 Abbe crowns) and a relatively low refractive index (the entire visible range 1.51-1.54);

5) The linear expansion coefficient is 3.3 ± 0.1 × 10-6 / K;

6) Resistant to Water, Acid and alkali ;

7) Superior corrosion resistance;

8) It has good thermal stability, chemical stability and electrical properties, it is resistant to chemical attack, thermal shock resistance, good mechanical properties, to withstand high temperature and other characteristics.
