1. What is a One Way View Glass?

One Way View Glass is also known as Atomic Mirror, Single-sided Mirror, SLR Glass, Double-sided Mirror, One-way Glass which is a kind of Visible Light Glass with a high reflectance. When the unidirectional See-through Glass is in application, the reflecting surface (mirror surface) must be the light-facing surface or the outdoor side. When the outdoor is brighter than the interior,the One Way View Glass is similar to a normal mirror, and the indoor scene cannot be seen outdoors, but the outdoor scene can be seen indoors. And when the interior is dim, the indoor scene can be seen outdoors, and the outdoor scene can be seen indoors. The clarity depends on the room. That is the intensity of external illumination.

2. Product Installation Steps

Following these steps to install One Way View Glass:

1) One Way View Glass is divided into two sides, positive and negative. The front is a glass mirror for reflecting light, and the front side should be oriented when installed. The monitoring room (ie: the space to be observed, such as the space where the suspect is located); the opposite side to the position of the judge (Namely: monitoring room).

2) The intensity of the light in the monitored room should be sufficient to ensure sufficient brightness. The brighter and stronger the light in the monitored room, the more the one-way obvious perspective effect of the glass.

3) In order to achieve the best One-way See-through performance of the glass, the ceiling is not installed in the monitoring room in principle and no other is allowed. A light source exists. If there is a window next to the monitoring room, it must be installed with opaque curtains, such as sealed curtains used in hotels.when using, it is recommended to turn off all lights in the monitoring room.

4) If the monitoring room must use the light, it is recommended to use point lights, such as writing table lamps (the lamp cover is opaque), to reduce.The illumination range is controlled, and the illumination ratio of the monitoring room to the monitored room is controlled to a 1:3 state, or a lower ratio to ensure glass.The one-way perspective performance of the glass is intact. Note: Lights cannot be installed directly behind the glass to prevent monitoring of indoor personnel images. Reflected on the glass surface.

5) In order to enhance the overall reflectivity of the unidirectional glass, it is recommended to install a spotlight above or below the glass mirror to enhance the glass mirror.

6) The actual distance between the monitored personnel and the one-way see-through glass should be kept above ≥1 meter.

3. Application

4. Notes

The One Way View Glass is special glass. When installing, pay attention to protect the glass side and Mirror Side.  Once the mirror is damaged, it cannot be repaired.
