The Borosilicate Glass also know as hard glass, it is with low expansion rate, high temperature, high strength, high hardness, high light transmittance and high chemical stability. Borosilicate glass sheet  is with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion about one-third of ordinary glass. 

Specificity:

1) Stronger resistance to fracture;

2) Borosilicate glass is lower than ordinary glass dense;

3) When broken, borosilicate glass cracks tend to be relatively large, rather than crushed (it will unit, not split);

4) Borosilicate glass has a low dispersion (about 65 Abbe crowns) and a relatively low refractive index (the entire visible range 1.51-1.54);

5) The linear expansion coefficient is 3.3 ± 0.1 × 10-6 / K;

6) Resistant to Water, Acid and alkali ;

7) Superior corrosion resistance;

8) It has good thermal stability, chemical stability and electrical properties, it is resistant to chemical attack, thermal shock resistance, good mechanical properties, to withstand high temperature and other characteristics.
